Securing the front wheel to the front fork of your ebike by Rad Power Bikes is critical for safety.

The front wheel quick release, which comes on all ebikes by Rad Power Bikes, provides convenience to the user since it allows the front wheel to be removed without tools. Since quick release levers can be loosened during transportation, or accidentally between or during rides, it is important that you regularly check to ensure these components are properly secured.

When properly installed, the front wheel should be fully seated in the dropouts of the front fork, and the quick release lever should be fully and properly secured.

NOTICE: When first shipped to customers, the quick release skewer will be holding the fork protector plate onto the front fork during shipping.

Before using the ebike, always check to ensure all latches, levers, and quick releases are properly secured and undamaged. Check that they are correctly secured before every ride and after every time the bike is left unsupervised, even for a short time. Otherwise, they may come loose and can result in loss of control, damage to the bike, property, serious injury, and/or death.
